They’re slinging mud(stupid mud, too) at each other left and right, and both of them are guilty of it. And not their campaigns — no, both of the actual candidates are saying stupid shit about each other in a desperate bid to get ahead.

All they’re doing is making the Democratic party look ridiculous while the Republicans maintain the impenetrable-fortress feel they’ve always had down.

I can’t remember the name of the editorialist, but it was one at CNN who said “We had an embarrassment of riches — now we just have an embarrassment.”
