Celebrities For President(ial Endorsements)
When you’re running for President, you need the backing of celebrities. The people may not trust you, but they’ll follow celebrities to the grave. Literally. They followed Anna Nicole Smith to the grave and she wasn’t even a major celebrity. Most of the time, the endorsements make sense.
For instance, Oprah supports Barack Obama.
That’s a huge endorsement even though she also supported The Secret.
Chuck Norris supports Mike Huckabee, so he has the vote not only of Christian Evangelicals, but of people who support tired Internet memes.
But then this endorsement struck me as odd…
Is that Jake Busey? I’m pretty sure that’s Jake Busey. If it’s not Jake Busey, it’s someone equally creepy looking, which is really who you want to have standing behind you when you have your first major victory in a Presidential primary.
